Apple, Samsung, or Huawei etc?

Which "mobile phone" brand do you like best & do you use, and what convinces you about this "mobile phone" brand & why would you never switch e.g. From Samsung to Apple?

I would be interested.

Au

Apple because it works, I can afford it and the support is outstanding, while the other two manufacturers probably think support is a deciduous tree.

Gu

I like Apple a lot, but I also like other brands like Oneplus.
It's just so hard to switch from one perfect system to something else…

I now have my second Google Pixel and I'm very happy with it.

I get a security patch every month, which is not a matter of course even at Apple.

In addition, there are always feature drops where you get new functions, such as an overnight charging mode.

The camera keeps up very well with the rest of the flagships and very often ensures a jam how good smartphone cameras are now.

I also find the long-term performance very convincing. Doesn't slow down.

Additional functions, such as music recognition, which works offline and which song is currently playing on the switched-off screen, complete the whole thing

I use a device from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. The Redmi K30 5G which is imported for around 300 euro.

Sometimes belongs to one of the best, if not the best, manufacturers in the world, despite its notoriety in this country. Even if they are the fourth largest manufacturer in this country in 2020.

Are the world's third largest manufacturer and have brought the manufacturer Apple off the podium.

With luck, they are second in terms of market share worldwide in Q4 2020 and would thus overtake the manufacturer Huawei, which was completely cornered due to the US ban and thus inevitably sold the subsidiary Honor.

What convinces me about the manufacturer Xiaomi is that they offer these devices at comparatively low prices, which one could only dream of with the competition. Except for the Mi 10 Pro, which in my opinion was flopped, which was too expensive to get 1000 euro, the Mi 10 without Pro for around 500 euro is almost unbeatably cheap and attractive. This is a price point at which it is almost no longer profitable to spend on a device, which makes much more expensive devices almost superfluous.

Also belonging to the group there's Redmi the cheap offshoot which offers devices for little money for less than 100 euro to 300 euro. So appeals to the broad mass of buyers.

Also belonging to the manufacturer, formerly Pocophone, meanwhile Poco is known for unbeatable price hits. Back then the Pocophone F1 for less than 300 euro, now the Poco X3 NFC for less than 200 euro. The Poco M3 has also followed suit in this country, which is available for under 150 euro with specs and features that are only known in high-end devices, be it stereo speakers or increased frame rates.

There's also a very good update policy, which I was not used to before. Meanwhile, I get patches every month with optimizations, bug fixes, new features and a constant improvement of the MIUI user interface. They even offer a generous update policy to many other manufacturers, which makes the device attractive for a long time and does not age so quickly.

Even when it comes to the camera software, the manufacturer is right up there and is fighting with Huawei for first place on http://dxomark.com/...omark.com/. At that time, the Mi 10 Ultra took first place for a long time and Huawei already has the Mate 40 Pro and the Pro +.

Even in other aspects, the manufacturer wants to be seen and for the first time presented the Mi 10 Ultra in China for the 10th anniversary, which was the first device in the world to be delivered with a 120 watt power supply, whereby the device fully charges within 25 minutes and up to 2 days Usage are in there. The same applies to the built-in camera which comes with a 120x zoom and represents a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with the 100x zoom.

Things that also make the manufacturer interesting are the Mi Mix devices, which bring out the experimental side of the manufacturer. The Mi Mix 2 which come with an extra large display and a comparatively large chin where the selfie camera is located. The Mi Mix 3 which has a slide mechanism with which you push out the camera. Apart from the Mi Mix series, there were also devices in the Mi-Series which were stranger like the K20 or Mi 9T which come with a pop-up selfie camera and thus a completely clean display is guaranteed. The Mi Mix Alpha was a very interesting device which would have come with a 180% display ratio, never reached the consumer market and, like Samsung, would have been available for over 2000 euro.

And the whole smartphone business represents only a small part of the whole business, is very successful and profitable despite its low profit policy of 5%, because the existence of the manufacturer is based on this. Nevertheless, these expand into several areas such as kitchen utensils, audio, smart devices, etc.

The manufacturer Xiaomi is also put on an equal footing with Apple, as the manufacturer has been booming for some time and the shares are skyrocketing.

Woooahhh, you know yourself very well, really exciting things with it but that it charges in 25 minutes is awesome!

thanks! And they are really right about Apple, yes I have one thing, but still they have really, really blatant things about it, respect that you know so much! 🤝.

PS: if you want Google at Huawei, you take something that is a little older👍🏼.

Especially since as far as I know IQOO has already undercut it with less than 19 minutes (certainly smaller battery).

Especially since 120 watts fast charging is almost bordering on cheating, since it is more like 2 separate batteries which are charged with 60 watts each.

Thank you, is the power of research and interest in technology.

And especially as Huawei's older devices receive comparatively shorter updates due to their advanced age. And since Huawei relies on their own SoCs anyway, this makes it problematic to offer their own ROMs on them to keep the device up to date.
