How does that work, is it even possible?

To manage my account with the DKB (The Kann Bank) I use the corresponding banking app.

Unfortunately, the app or my smartphone (Huawei P8lite) does not save the credentials. Is it possible to change this somehow?

A similar problem I have synonymous with PayPal.

Maybe someone has an idea or a solution.

co

No, because it is the associated app that does not allow storage for security reasons.

Ye

These data are not stored for your safety. Think about losing your phone and anyone can log into your online banking or Paypal.

Ka

Thanks. Makes sense on the smartphone, yes, if such data is not stored. It's just annoying to enter the data again and again.

Ob

The fact that the data is not saved is deliberately made on the website and in the app (for security reasons).

Incidentally, DKB stands for "Deutsche Kreditbank". "That can bank" is only their slogan.

Ka

Thanks. I know the bank name. I think the slogan is better.

So

Does the device have a fingerprint scanner or facial recognition feature?

If so, then the credentials can be saved and the login can be done through one of these functions.

If not, the credentials must be entered each time. (That's why I bought a smartphone with a fingerprint scanner a few weeks ago - it's very handy.)

Ka

No, the P8 is a bit older and does not have that kind of thing.
