I'm looking for a way to enable USB debugging on my defective cell phone (Huawei P20 Pro) on the PC. I read a lot about flashing ADB or TWRP, but that doesn't work either. SDK and driver installed, my PC can't find a device with the adb devices command. I don't think I can flash TWRP, because Fastboot Phone Locked says FRP Lock.
My mobile phone gives the error message "Verification failes" when starting and then goes into eRecovery mode. There are the options Download latest Version and Emergency Backup, but both do not work. In the case of emergency backup, he would like to restart, but then the error message appears again that the hardware can't be verified.
The battery is damaged, quite bloated. I don't know if the battery normally contributes to hardware verification.
If the cell phone is defective, it is defective and can't be addressed.
Display only, then yes.
I don't know what exactly is broken. This error message appears when starting:
"Your device has failed verification and may not work properly"
--------------------------------------------
(1) Press power key to continue
(2) Press Volume Up key up to 3 seconds to enter erecovery to restore your phone
(3) Your device will stop start, if there's no operation
And then the mobile phone goes into eRecovery mode. The options "download latest version" and "Emergency backup" do not work. After reboot the error message comes again.
