I wanted to buy a new phone, the Huawei P10.
At Media Markt it costs about 460 euro, whereas on the internet it costs only 360 euro on Amazon. That's a huge difference. Why is that? Is it still exactly the same phone or do you have to take care of something?
What about the warranty? If I would buy the phone at Media Markup, I would have a 2 year warranty. How about if I buy on Amazon? I think it's just funny that it is all around hundred eurosgünstiger.
Here is the offer:
Warranty is not equal to warranty. If there's a Huawei warranty, it comes from the manufacturer and is the same everywhere. If not, you have two years warranty everywhere, which is regulated by law.
Can buy it on Amazon. Media Markt has to somehow finance its advertising bellow, claiming to be cheap. As you can see, they are not.
Time aside, the media market is not nearly as cheap as the advertising always claims that when you buy in the store the "advantage" that you can throw and the defective product on the counter if it is defective. In addition, one can get advice in stores more or less competent what is then co-financed by the purchase price of the products.
The manufacturer's warranty but you also have if you order your phone on the Internet. However, you have to return it for the post and take a processing a little longer. It is cheaper, as you have already noticed
So of course, benefits are that you have a 100% guarantee and you only have to go to Media Market while you're online (if they even offer a warranty) to send the phone. There might be other reasons like a fake model or it could be broken…
Despite everything, I would differ in the price, rather order online.
