Huawei and Google smartphones?

I would like to stay with Huawei (currently P20, contract until December), would then take the current Huawei flagship, but am torn because the new Huawei smartphones should no longer have Google.

You can download the Google Play Store, but is it the same as when everything is pre-installed? Or are there disadvantages?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you'll have to manually update apps over and over again.

PS I would recommend OnePlus as a brand. Something is still unknown here in the country. But I have already used several devices and I'm only satisfied.
