Can't change the volume?

So when I try to change the volume on my mobile phone (Huawei p20 pro) it comes:

And the volume doesn't change.

Unlock the phone and then try again, it says that it is locked!

Then look in the settings to see if you have locked the volume buttons there separately?

Hm not that I know of. I don't know where I can switch such a setting on / off
