I overslept a few days ago, because the alarm clock of my new P20 Pros just did not ring. I have all things like Do Not disturb off. The alarm rings in silent mode. I have put my iPad alarm clock 1 minute before my mobile alarm clock rings. The alarm did not ring again until I turned on the screen. When the screen was on I was able to snooze the alarm clock, etc. I hope someone can help, that's really bad for me

Do not you sure not synonymous time activated? I do not know how it is with huawei but probably you are using such a funny alarm clock app from huawei right? Try the originals of google

https://play.google.com/....deskclock

Go through the list

Instead of tip 3, I'd rather try first just reset the app

From the homescreen, navigate to the menu and then the settings.

Then click on "Awareness Manager" and above the "All" tab.

Search for and tap the app "clock".

Now reset the clock app by pressing the following buttons in succession:
"Force Stop → Clear Cache → Clear Data"

Do not disturb is disabled. The Google app does not work either. I have the assumption that in the lock screen background apps are somehow disabled.

Everything already tried, unfortunately, nothing helps. I think it has something to do with the standby mode. The alarm usually works, but unfortunately not always. When I'm in standby mode and the alarm should ring and I turn on the screen, the alarm goes off. So the background apps seem to be disabled. Do you know there maybe a solution?

I have never had such a thing but try the info in the app to see if maybe any authority is missing

If you connect your phone to the charging cable, your alarm will not work… Is the same for a buddy.

Actually completely stupid.

A tech where I bought my P20pro checked it, and could n't find a setting that prevents alarm from ringing. He suspected it's the OS, and Huawei doesn't provide updates anymore.
