Huawei P30lite fell in the toilet?

My Huawei P30 lite fell into the toilet about 40 minutes ago, was in it for a maximum of 2 seconds, I guess less. Switched off immediately and then dried off, dried the charging socket and the headphone socket with cotton swabs. Loudspeaker only about 5 minutes later. I then put it in a lunch box with rice and put it upright. The problem is that I'm not home right now and have to drive home at 10 4 hours tomorrow morning. I don't have a replacement cell phone or money for a new one. Do you think I can use it again tomorrow or charge it if I leave it in the rice for 8 hours?

In any case, everything sounds pretty good with the rice, etc. Try again tomorrow and ask friends about a replacement if it doesn't work yet.

And again someone who believes in this absolute nonsense "put in rice"… THAT is complete nonsense and is of no use at all - you could just as well conjure up the part with a self-made spell at a full moon - has the same end result…

Then what helps?

Great answer "enlighten us"

In the event of water damage, the device must be opened and professionally cleaned / dried accordingly.

In your case - if the device was really only so briefly in the water as you describe it - you might even be lucky enough to "get away" without any damage.

Tr

Do you think I should just leave it off or turn it on again as a precaution?

zu

Do not use for about 24 hours

It's not possible, but thank you anyway
