A little mishap happened last week… I dropped my Huawei P30 lite into our garden pond. After I got it out, I put it in rice to dry it. Then it worked again, so I wanted to charge it because its battery was empty, but when I plugged it in, it wasn't lit green, but flashed red… What does that mean?
That is normal.
When it is charging, the lamp flashes, red when the battery is empty, orange when it is half empty and green when it is (almost) full.
Short circuit. You can throw the part away.
But I had been charging it for a whole day, shouldn't the battery be broken; -;
Conceivable. Or the circuit that loads it, for example.
Nevertheless, I thank you for your help.
If a battery symbol is displayed, the device is switched off and is charging. If you see a red light, the battery is completely discharged. If the red light flashes, the charge is not sufficient to switch on.
