Will be soon again time to change my phone, currently have the second phone of the brand Huawei and I'm super satisfied.

I currently want to buy the Huawei P30 lite, but according to the media, I'm a bit hesitant whether it makes sense to buy one.

Should I order one more at the present time, I would still have the old operating system - does anyone know, or would you generally advise against it under the circumstances?

Basically you can buy any current cell phone and you will find people who find it bad and people who are satisfied with it.

the brand Huawei and I'm super satisfied.

Then I would stick to it.

Buy Huawei P30 lite

Can you buy it, but keep in mind that it's not waterproof, if that's important to you.

Otherwise it is for photos and WA completely sufficient and priced also fully ok.

If you buy it now you'll get a new one in 2-3 years anyway. So it makes no sense to wait for any new operating system (if you can't upgrade that, wait until the next phone)

But would anyway only buy a new phone when the old gives up the spirit or the contract is extended.
If none of the two points apply, I would just stick to the current one.

ch

Actually, yes, but it would still be unclear whether Huawei updates will be received

Al

Even if not, then you just use Android.

Using an OS currently in use is definitely safer than re-releasing it. I do not want to know how many bugs and co. That the first months will have.

ca

Honestly? I would not buy Huawei right now, although it is not unlikely that the problem will be solved overnight. There remains the danger that you will stay on Android 9.

Especially since the P30 Lite unlike the Pro has no killer feature, so you have to buy it necessarily. It's just an average midrange device. If you look around, you get the same food from all other manufacturers. Take the overhyped 48 MPixel sensor, a midrange chip with few edges and a teardrop notch. That's something like 08/15.

Equivalent alternatives would be the Samsung Galaxy A50, which has at least ne other camera or the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, the ne good corner has more power.

Al

Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is not bad, but the camera in the Galaxy A50 is rather poor compared to the others.

See the text of yesterday:

Dear HUAWEI family, dear customers!

Over the past few days, the news has spread and you have reacted with great understanding, why we thank you warmly. We also want to share this important information with you:

HUAWEI will continue to provide security updates and services for all existing smartphones and tablets. This affects sold and stored equipment worldwide, thus also in Austria. 😊 In addition, all existing products as well as the ones we currently sell may fully use the Google services as before. Likewise, the apps can be updated as usual. We will also continue to work on developing a secure and sustainable Android ecosystem to deliver the best possible user experience worldwide.

We would like to thank you once again for your loyalty and your understanding towards us!

Your HUAWEI team

ch

FALSE that is exactly that problem inform you Huawei devices Could soon get no more security updates what exactly the one you are afraid of the doors opens

ca

Actually, one would also rather take the A70 for comparison, but that is a bit more expensive and certainly many too big.

ch

Yes, unfortunately that is but no more security that has whole Political backgrounds here it is because of the power struggle of the US and China since Huawei The Chinese state heard why such a risk and make it a plaything of politics there are so many alternative even better that dumbest what you do kqann is brand loyalty

Al

Android is open source, so Huawai can simply deliver the security updates himself.

ch

Yes, that is possible, but it is not so unfortunate that Huawei loses access to the Playstore, so users have to dodge info apps, which opens the door

Thanks for the answer, yes, in principle, my phone will not hold out all too long, my contract is to extend and have but not the large selection of many cell phones. I'm not necessarily a fan of iPhone and Samsung, for my purposes Huawei was always perfect. ☺ I just want a good camera and just use it a lot for photos. β˜ΊπŸ˜‰

But I'll look elsewhere.

en

Yes my cell phone will probably soon give up the ghost and contract is to extend πŸ˜›β˜Ί I had now rather promised the camera, use it so much for photos. β˜ΊπŸ˜‰

Thanks in advance for your answer - helped me a lot! β˜ΊπŸ˜‰
