Huawei P8 Lite contrast enhancement?

If I use my p8 lite in the sun, and the top of the phone is in the sun, then the screen will somehow get ugly, as if the contrast has intensified.

Does anyone know why this is so and whether you can turn it off?

Unfortunately, you can't switch off, the displays of Huawei are not useful in the sun. I have a Mate10 Pro when the sun does not seem to stand a chance.
