I have a HUAWEI P20 Pro. If I use the email app from HUAWEI and want to add another Gmail account, then I get the following message:

You are logged in the maximum number of accounts. If you want to use a different account, you'll need to sign out of all Google Accounts on this device.

Is it still possible to add more Gmail addresses without logging out?

Yes, but not with the standard email app from Huawei
