It's not worth it. Pay a lot of money for features that you can't use in the end, the worst thing that can happen that the cell phone does not support AAC and the Airpods connected via SBC, which in addition to unusable features brings with it a significant latency.
The Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 for 99 euro on Amazon would be more suitable, for example. Cost less, sound better, support aptX, longer battery life and are real in-ears.
