What is the current status with the Google Playstore on the huawei p40 lite devices?
I used to be able to download it from the Internet. Then I read again that it was somehow difficult.
Is it still possible today?
Or do only certain apps work?
In terms of hardware, in my opinion the p40 lite is really good in terms of price and performance.
Google apps don't work anymore… You can do what you want.
It works with almost all apps except Google's own apps such as Google Maps etc. Or YouTube and Twitch. You always have to go to the internet site to be able to use the site.
Does that mean apps like Instagram, Amazon Music, Whatsapp, or gaming apps like Clash of Clans run 100% without any problems? Only the download looks different?
Google apps means practically everything with "Google" in the name?
You just have to download it from the App Gallery. Otherwise they actually run without any problems.
Yes you can install the play store, but you have no support and so you need 3 or 4 files from the internet google simply "retrofit google play store" that is the same as for amazon fire devices if you can find instructions for it you just have to still search for the files for your Android version
