I have a huawei p30 lite it is only English and Chinese and two other languages but no German there's something to download that goes in German. All too much knowledge I have not in it
Probably you hate the process with settings, system languages and then already done in German

Yes actually from the Telekom as a customer because my other contract expired.
So with huawei it looks like this:
On the cogwheel (Settings or engl. Settings) Scroll down and on "System" on English the same and then on "language and region", this is the third from the top then there are the two languages proposed to you probably English and Below is a blue lettering with English below. "Add language" and there all languages are listed…
