I have a Huawei P8 lite 2017 with 16GB of storage and still I have storage problems all the time I really don't have many pictures what's app Spotify and Snapchat but nothing else and I wonder why that is. My friend also had a cell phone with 16GB of storage, but she still got more on her cell phone than me. I've already tried a memory expansion and somehow it didn't work. Can someone help me?
Nearly that is always due to certain files or data that are still hidden on your mobile phone, 16 GB is also not a great option for a mobile phone because it sure is just totally annoying if this display always comes, maybe you can get an extra memory card with 64 GB? Your pictures and everything will stay with you. If you need help, just get in touch or ask your parents or google.
Huawei's system takes 12GB alone so you only have 4GB. Buy an extension, preferably an SD card

Yes and there are still 56 GB free but it can't be activated
