I would like to have a new cell phone because on the one hand I only borrowed my current cell phone from my younger brother and on the other hand I have had it for 3 years now, which is not that long, but the technology has changed a lot and I would like to move with me.
At the moment I have the Huawei p10 lite which is fine but of course is no longer the latest.
A big disadvantage for me is the storage space because I have a lot of photos on my phone and of course also standard apps like Whatsapp and co. And that's why my storage space is extremely full.
I would also like to own my own cell phone and not always be afraid that if anything could happen to the cell phone I would have to pay for it.
I know for myself that these are not strong arguments but maybe there's a chance what do you think?
You have to ask your parents
I think you have enough reason for a new cell phone, especially since it is not your cell phone that you are currently using. It doesn't have to be a top model.
Just ask them.
I give you a tip: Help your parents all the time and show them that you deserve to get a new cell phone. Don't just ask if you get one, but ask the parents that you are worthy of earning a new one. Then it works 100%!

Why does your little brother have a cell phone that he can lend and you have none?
You could offer your parents to work through the costs. Depending on how old you are, you can take out things like garbage, do dishes, vacuum etc. You could also have your pocket money reduced to show goodwill.
Save your money and buy it yourself, I can't understand parents who buy their children's cell phones. Buy it yourself.
My old cell phone broke and because my little brother still had his working cell phone in the closet, I got it.
