Cell phone blocked due to family link. How can I unlock my phone without my parents noticing?

I'm 13 years old and I have the Family link app on my phone (Huawei Mate 20 Lite). I can only use my cell phone for 30 minutes a day, then it locks.

in locked mode I can only make calls. If I swipe from top to bottom, I can't open this menu with the important things e.g. Wi-Fi, flight mode, helichkeit etc. (you think I know what I mean)

And I actually find a little bit little in 30min. So I want to find a way to unlock my phone.

Another reason is because I want to call friends from Germany, but I come from Austria, so I can't call via the normal phone but only via WhatsApp, but unfortunately that does not work because my mobile phone is locked. So it can be that my cell phone locks in the middle of the call and I don't get any advance warning. In the locked state, I can't accept WhatsApp calls. I also can't tell that my cell phone is locked and I have to wait for the next day and that's annoying.

But I don't want to delete the app either because it would list my parents. I can't download apps or enter sites.

Until now, I've always snuck down at night and unlocked my cell phone, but that's risky.

You'll need to uninstall and then reinstall the app (so your parents can see that the app is still on). Because once it has been uninstalled and reinstalled, you have to log in again and configure the app so that it works.

You could also go to your settings and delete the data and empty the cache under Apps> Famaly Link, maybe that will also help.

But my parents have to confirm that I download any apps that means that they will see it when I want to download an app, I just noticed 😂

I don't know anything, but I have a tip: if you are calling via WhatsApp, you have to switch off your mobile phone (don't switch it off completely, just the screen) while the call (including video call) continues. You can turn it back on but don't unlock it. So you don't use your cell phone time while making calls.

But you have to have set that you need a password or something to unlock it and that it is locked immediately when you turn off the screen.

You could just edit the limits. If your parents haven't noticed that you are secretly unlocking your phone, they won't notice either.
