Wait for prices on a new mobile phone?

I would like to buy a new phone and have discovered the Huawei P20 lite and have considered buying it, since it is currently available for about 200 euro on Amazon.

But now I noticed that the P30 lite on 8.5. Appears. That would of course be much better and newer, but also costs twice as much as the P20.

Unfortunately I do not know how the mobile phone prices develop this way. I would like to buy the P30, but only if it is for 300 euro or less on offer.

Can you expect a good offer at all? Or should I buy the P20, since the P30 will probably be available for the full price only?

My phone is very soon on the mind, I do not want to wait too long.

Both phones are absolutely not recommended as all "Lite" models.

If you can do without a mega good camera then buy the Huawei Honor Play, which offers for the price of about 230 euro a high end Soc (Kirin 970) from Huawei and is therefore much more powerful than the Lite models.

The P30 Lite is just as bad as all Lite models, except that this time a better camera will be installed and therefore the price will be higher.

That "old model" after the appearance of a successor conspicuously cheaper, is already eternal not so. Only the "normal" price decline continues to develop. The manufacturers reduce the production quantity on time and place the devices z. B. Give more to mobile operators to "bundle" with a mobile phone contract instead of throwing it "unchecked" on the market.

And if the integrated LTE in the 970 is soo necessary, I doubt it.

That's not true, but the CPU clock is 4% higher. The performance, however, is worlds better.

In the Antutu benchmark, the Kirin 659 scores 70,000 points while the Kirin 970 scores 170,000 points if I've seen it right. In practice, this difference is much more recognizable, unfortunately, I find no speed test to the two in hands on.

No problem, gladly. These phones are not really that bad, but you can definitely get better models for the money. If you want a slightly better display and a better camera, the Honor 10 for about 275 euro might be worth considering. Otherwise, the Honor Play is a good choice, a friend of mine has been very satisfied for half a year.

I'll probably either buy the Honor 10 or Play.
