Today I noticed something very funny…
On my old phone, I googled a foreign word which started with "D". A few minutes later I wanted to enter the word "Distortion" into my search on my new mobile phone, because suddenly the D-word googled on the old smartphone was listed as "recently searched" and suggested to me.
Did it then with other words tried on both devices and in all it's the same! Are both of course connected via the same Wi-Fi network, but that does not mean anything?
One is an S7 and the other a Huawei P10 … What's going on there?
That's because you probably have both phones linked to the same Google Account, so the search history is the same.
That actually makes sense…
If you use the same Google account on all devices this is normal. Google stores search queries not per device but per Google Account.
