I bought a Samsung cell phone today and everything is now like a gray filter / veil. The Internet says that the quiet mode should be to blame, but that is not the case because it is off. You can also recognize colors so it is green but as I said everything you would have put a filter / veil on it. Does anyone know how to get rid of this on all my other cell phones? The colors are nice and intense and as they should be. It is a Samsung Galaxy A21s.
I have asked this question before but now I have a supplement. I took a screenshot of the Samung and a Huawei P30 Lite from my old phone to show how strong and beautiful the colors are on the Huawei and how faded on the Samsung.
Can't I adjust the screen lighting? Is the down regulated?
I would tap on an energy-saving mode that lowers the entire brightness.
They are both at maximum brightness
The energy saving mode is potentiated but both cell phones are at maximum brightness
Blue filter, night mode, energy mode?
So since you took a screenshot you can exclude the brightness or the like from the display. These are not shown in the screenshot.
In other words, here is an adaptation on the software side by Samsung. I would personally tap on the screen mode, because it adjusts the colors in the background so that they are partly softer and should feel more alive. But you can also switch.
Settings - Display - Screen mode.
Just try different modes, there's definitely the right one for you.
Am on display but there's no screen mode
Chrome doesn't have to be
Max. Brightness creates a gray haze, turn it down
Which Android version do you have on it? Depending on the Android version, the names differ slightly
Android 10
Strange, I compared a S10+ / S20 and a A50. For all of them, the item is screen mode. Is it only grayed out for you?
