Love community,
first of all, I have a Huawei P30. Its charger supports Quick Charge, means it is charged quickly. (which is also true in reality).
Just now I have a video of ComputerBild viewed and read various blogs, where it says that it is bad for the battery, if it is loaded quickly. The battery is unnecessarily strained and loses its power. And since you can't swap the battery in the P30, it would be good to prevent something like that.
Now to my question. Can I just take another plug (which does not support Quickcharge) but still use the same charging cable or should I buy a new complete set right away to prevent this? The battery should still hold for a while.
Just load as it has Huawei included.
For extra fast-charging batteries is the disadvantage, the quick charge brings with it, as if you always left your battery very empty and then charged to 100%. So better with fast charge ever a little recharge, and keep the battery as neat as possible of the 50% charge for a long battery life is better than to stick to the advice of the NiCd battery life, and only if possible to charge batteries if the device turns itself off due to empty battery.
It is best, of course, to do this again and again with low power, and then you just need a non-chargeable Ladegeät, or to load the USB port of a PC. So always with 5V and 500mA
Fast charging harms the battery. A battery can withstand about 500 charges (even partial charges). With fast charges, the battery lasts much shorter and needs to be replaced faster (perhaps after only 250 charges).
I would not have calculated. Now have my old Apple plug (without Quickcharge) and continue to use the original cable as a duo to charge. Although it is much slower, but you spare where you can.
Edit: Can I continue to use the original Huawei cable or should I replace it, because I already use a different connector?
