Android app device is not compatible?

I have an app on my huawei p8 lite about an apk file installed. Since the app is only compatible with Samsung Galaxy phones comes a message "device not compatible". Can I modify the app with a tool so that it "thinks" my phone would be a samsung galaxy s8?
