How do I get the green stripe off my phone display?

I have had a green stripe on the edge of the display for a few days from the bottom right edge to the top left corner. If I change the brightness from as dark as possible to very bright, it is gone. Now the question arises how I can't see him even with dark brightness. I would appreciate any helpful answer.
