Huawei mate or huawei p?

Hello there's the huawei mate 20 pro (soon 30 per) and the huawei p 30. These are two different series. Which one is better?

Funny question, the P series has always been the power series. The P30 Pro is much better than the Mate series

This is similar to Samsung, there's always the "S" series for the current top model and there's the "Note" series for a top model with usually a little larger display, often just an improved version of the S series. It is similar with Huawei, quote:

The target audience for P and Mate series are somewhat different. The Mate series uses pixels and processors, and is using the latest processor. The P series targets those who are more concerned about the design sense, new colors and photo-taking capabilities.

Better is actually always the newer, the P30 Pro currently has clearly the best camera on the market, the processor is too. Mate 20 Pro but almost identical. Soon the Mate 30 Pro will probably be released, as soon as the new Kirin processor has been developed with a slightly redesigned camera, I guess.
