As the question above says, I want to know if it is possible to just play the music on the speaker and the rest of the sound on the phone.
For example: The Spotify music is played on the loudspeaker, I open Instagram and watch a video there. The sound of the video then interrupts the music on the speaker.
I want to prevent that. So is it possible to play the sounds separately?
If that helps, it is a JBL Charge 3 and a Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
Which audio signal is output when and where depends on the programming of the respective app.
Basically, the overlay of audio data is possible on most smartphones. Simple examples are that an alarm signal is superimposed on any music or that music currently playing remains quietly in the background with a call sign.
Most apps are usually designed to explicitly claim audio output. The user should not be allowed to change this.
Unfortunately, that is not possible. Is it really that bad?
No, it's not that bad. It's just a little annoying.
Thank you for the star.
