Email is synchronized, does not go away?

Since I tried to send an email yesterday, the notifications have always said: Email is being synchronized. How do I get this out? I have a Huawei phone.

Is there an attachment? What is the Wi-Fi connection like?

Yes there was an attachment, have good Wi-Fi.

The bottleneck can be the email provider. Eg if the attachment is too large.
