Today I have to bring my Huawei to Saturn, as it needs a repair because the on-off button is pressed.
On my old Samsung Galaxy S5 it was like I brought it to repair that it is reset by default to factory settings.
Is that the same with my Huawei or is it not done there or is it business?
It is not necessary to reset a cell phone to factory condition in the diagnosis. Practically, however, it is easier for the service provider to make a diagnosis on an empty cell phone that came out recently at Apple: The staff said it was much more complicated to check the phone for errors when it is not in the factory state.
So it would work, you just do not want to do the work (time!).
I guess something similar will be synonymous with Android because large parts are similar in the OS. So I would not bet on catching a coworker who likes to take the time for you.Let's prefer a backup!
PS: What exactly you fix does not matter, even very simple things can quickly lead to your phone being reset. Do you carry out the repair in a normal "mobile phone repair shop" so you do not have to reset your phone! If you change the case of your computer, you do not have to erase your hard drive.
