To everyone who knows their way around the display, I have a question.
Huawei and Honor mobile phones have the "Eye comfort" or Eye protection function in which the colors become a bit more yellow and pleasant. I personally love and use this function and get instant eye pain when I turn the mode off. So supposedly it's supposed to be good for the eyes, but I recently asked myself, is that good for the battery too, so I mean would the battery last longer if I had the default setting?
If so, do you know how much?
I thank you in advance.
Makes no difference if it is very minimal and not noticeable.
I don't know, are your eyes or the battery of your phone more important to you?
It makes no difference, the display is still as bright as usual. It simply reduces the amount of blue light.
Depends on. If this increases the battery life, I could turn it off and get used to it. If that's 5 percent more, I'll keep it on and I don't care.
Aah understand.
True Tone doesn't need more battery, it also protects your eyes.
I have a P30 lite, I've noticed how blue the display looks when I turn off this feature, however I can say that I've noticed battery drain with the feature on, unfortunate but true
