Honor 9x guarantee loss?

I have an Honor 9x, in which a small piece of wood prevents me from removing the SIM card. I asked Huawei and they said I had to send it in. My question is jz will I lose the guarantee on the cell phone if I let Media Markt open the cell phone to get the piece of wood splinter out?

Yes, this is an intervention that results in a loss of guarantee. Couldn't Huawei name you an authorized workshop in your living area?

No, or I didn't ask for it. But online it is shown that there's only a huawai workshop in Nuremberg and Munich. So pretty far from me
