How to add pictures to the lock screen on Huawei?

I used to be able to have multiple pictures as my lock screen wallpaper, but somehow it doesn't work anymore. I know that swiping up from the very bottom gives you different options, but underneath you can't take pictures from the gallery as the title page. I can only take downloaded images that I don't have.

Can someone help me?

Set the home screen background
Open Settings then navigate to Home screen & wallpaper> Background. You can do the following:

Set a picture as the home screen wallpaper: Tap Gallery or choose a preset wallpaper on your device and follow the on-screen instructions to choose a lock screen, home screen, or both.

Set a photo from the gallery as your wallpaper: Do you have a great photo that you would like to set as your wallpaper? In Gallery, open the photo you like, go to> Set As> Wallpaper, and follow the on-screen instructions to set the photo as your home screen wallpaper.

How do i recover a picture that i had used as lockscreen on my Huawei nova 5 phone
