Buying notebooks from Banggood?

Hi do you have any experiences with Banggood? I think it's a Chinese shop. I saw the Huawei Matebook 14 with Ryzen 7 4800H and don't know how serious it is. It's just 1 month to wait…

I would get a chinese version of windows but that's not a problem, it can easily be updated with a pro license.

The price is a little higher but should be clear.

Banggood is just a China shop. It is serious, but depending on which warehouse your notebook is shipped from, you should bear in mind that there's also import sales tax of 19%. You should also be careful about the keyboard layout. Usually you get a Qwerty keyboard and have to do without umlauts accordingly.

Bangood is a Chinese website similar to AliExpress. It most likely comes here from China, but sometimes products come from German warehouses.

If the products are from China, you will most likely have to pay import fees or something. That is why I prefer to only buy cheap things through such websites.

The Huawei Matebook is also available in German shops: https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...+notebooks

Even if it might cost a little more, I would still tend to have to run around with customs and the post office and maybe have to pay something extra.

Ma

EDIT: In principle, the website is serious and you will get your notebook delivered quite safely, but then, as already written, you have to accept any additional costs. And return and guarantee is a completely different house number.

With the link you mentioned, the product comes from China, which means for you you have to pay the import tax of 19% for the device.

In addition, the system has a Chinese Windows license, which means that another ~ 15 euro are due for this.

In addition, it is not specified which layout the keyboard comes with, so a Qwerty is to be expected.

I would get the laptop directly from a dealer in DE, even if it is a bit more expensive here.

Thank you

Isn't Qwerty standard on this laptop?

Ha

Yes, I would like to prefer the version with AMD Ryzen 7 but it is sold out everywhere. That's why I got rid of the Chinese shop in a weird way.

Only if you import it. Models that can be found in German shops usually also have a qwertz keyboard.

Ha

228 euro just for the tax? Poah pretty hard.

Pu

Unfortunately, you can't get by with the tax, but this is already included in the price of a German shop.

A supposed bargain quickly turns into a bargain after all, which is unfortunately often overlooked and the surprise then comes with the letter from customs.

In addition, if you buy the device in China there could be problems with a warranty claim. The communication should be quite difficult and if the shop does not offer a service in Europe, the processing takes several weeks.

Un

No, with EU Priority Line shipping from Banggood you do not pay any import sales tax! It is best to pay by PayPal at Banggood. At the checkout there's also an option to choose to insure that Banggood will pay the taxes if you do have to pay some.

Un

Have ordered there several times, doesn't cause any problems, but you should definitely pay via PayPal then you still have that as security.
And choose EU Priority Line as the shipping method and maybe book the insurance at the checkout so that you do not have any additional taxes and it is insured when shipping.

Oh okay, personally, I would find quertz a lot more pleasant at work… Hmm, thank you very much
