What do you think of the Huawei Matepad 10.4?

I'm going to buy a tablet for school. What do you think of this tablet. In addition, it's worth buying a matching keyboard.

I would only use it for homework, presentations, and video conferencing.

What do you think. Do you know other devices in this price region (also cheaper)

Te

There are no Play Services running on it, so no Google Apps

I would rather use an Ipad 8

Mi

But there's no playstore on it either Xd

Besides, I don't use the Google Apps that much anyway.

YouTube can be watched in the browser or downloaded as an AOK file. The other Google apps can be easily replaced by the free apps from Microsoft that I already use.

And with 32GB you don't get far…

Te

As far as productive work is concerned, you're better off with iOS

Android makes little sense on tablets

Mi

Can you explain why

Te

Because the system is absolutely not adapted to the large display, Apple has developed its own system for the iPads soagr

The selection of apps for productive work is also significantly larger

And you also get applications like photoshop etc. For the iPad

As a student, you also get a discount on the ipad

Mi

Android is also being adapted to tablets, or am I wrong?

The AppStore has 1.96 million apps. (2019)

The Playstore has 2.46 (2019)

Photoshop is also available for Android.

I as. High school students do not get a discount. As a student I would have got one 😒

Te

The pure number says nothing

It's best to take a look at reviews, but the ipad is more suitable for school and the like

Mi

Ok thanks, I'll do it tomorrow.

I'm going to sleep now, have school tomorrow.

Better the tab s6 lite

Pr

I agree. So I'm considering working with a tablet in school because it would be a good idea, but I'm also in a conflict.

There are 2 different devices possible for me:

Once like the Galaxy Tab s6 Lite or the Ipad 7/8 with the Apple Pencil 1, however, it is secondly expensive. Let's look for more opinions for what I will decide. But I would strongly advise against this media pad because it simply lacks compatibility. It looks clearly chic and the hardware is also ok, but the limitation of the apps alone would bother me very much.

Mi

I'm faced with the exact same question.

Pr

Today I was allowed to test an Ipad 7 with pencil at school and I have to say I really liked the performance of this device and I really liked writing with the pencil. I have to say I have never tested the Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 Lite, which is why I wait for this opportunity and then decide. Since I actually want my tablet as soon as possible, no matter which one it ends, but I know that it is Prime Day on 13/14 I will probably have to wait until then, but I can imagine that the wait will be worthwhile.

Br

I tested an s6, it's great. The pen is also phenomenal and in my opinion better than the one on the iPad, if only because of the tip adorned with plastic (no longer feels like writing on glass)
