I had a very important quick-file on my phone. I had this open and wanted to write further to her writing. Suddenly it says I need more disk space because the file would take up too much space I do not have. So I've used the garbage collector in Huawei's Preferences and gotten some sort of cache cleaning, while the file was still open in the background. When the cleanup was done, I wanted to backup the file and it read: File can't be opened. If I click on the i, then there's 0,00b space, in the details, however, the beginning of my text, although the file is allegedly empty. I need this file again.
If you have important things, you should first go to save this if necessary. Also 2x if you clean something.
You can only hope that you find you on the PC again.
You have to close your mobile phone on the PC then transfer files and look in the path to where you have written it. "Either you are lucky and still get ran, or unfortunately bad luck by their own stupidity ^^
Next time ALWAYS save, archive, copy, move ect… There are many ways to back up files.
