Huawei Galarie synchronization?

I have the problem that since the new update from Huawei something about pictures can't be synchronized

(see picture) what does that mean for me? Are pictures missing in the gallery or what?

And is there a possibility to produce the old layout from the gallery, because I can't handle this layout at all and it is very confusing.

There are no missing pictures or videos. You would need more storage space.

So, is this just for backup and don't you have to pay attention to it if you don't need it?
