My girlfriend has just shown a screenshot where she was only spammed by a notice saying "Phone needs to be protected" she says it is a virus but I don't think it is a virus. And if I do try to help her but my question is is it a virus or not?
It is not a virus, but the advertisement is triggered by some app!
So it's best to delete the unsafe apps or withdraw the permission under Settings.
And under no circumstances download external APK apps, as this could contain a real virus.
You should uninstall the last 3 apps.
