Do not store contact with emoji?

I have a Huawei p9lite and would like to store smileys. However, I always get the name is too long. If I try this without a smiley, the name can be endless. Why is that? How can I get it anyway?

That does not work, think about how long such image addresses are, here's just an example for you:
