Notebook always plugged in, bad for the battery?

I have had a new Huawei Matebook 13 for some time. As I currently only work at home, my laptop is always plugged in. (Use it between 5-7h per day)

The display on the laptop itself shows "Energy status mains operation". Could also set the charge to stop at 70% to save the battery.

I wanted to ask if you think that continuous plugging in will damage the battery or should I discharge and recharge it every time? I've also heard that the newer laptop models can switch between battery and mains operation…

(The battery of the Huawei Matebook 13 can't just be removed)

The same thing happened to me…

I do it the same way and do not think that it is particularly bad, it is only bad when the battery is completely empty or you charge it at 50%.
