In my old phone come without a pin?

I found my old cell phone from elementary school. It's an old Huawei with old software. Approximately From 2011. I would like to log in there to see my old files. However, I do not know the pin anymore. So not the simcard pin but the one I set on the phone back then. Can I perhaps there by Brootforce on the Pc. There are only 10,000 combinations.

Does it lock after too many wrong entries?

Yes, unfortunately. But I do not have to go in anyway. I connected it via USB to my PC and have now seen that nothing is on the phone except the operating system. But thanks anyway
