Cosplay theme - what do you call these socks?

I had seen this cosplay and was wondering what is the name of these special socks that you can put on your shoes.

To make it look like you only have the sock on.

One is over knee shoes and the other looked like tennis socks

Are these really normal overknees? Because the heel looks out below… Did she cut a hole in there?

I only know them as overknee stockings.

I think these are over the knee boots / high heels. They were already sewn on the shoes.
