Last week I switched from my Huawei y6 to a Huawei Mate 10 lite. I also changed the SIM card from my old cell phone to the new one. The old one has no reception while the new one is connected to the telecom. Of course, mobile data and calls only go from my new cell phone. How is it then possible that SMS are still being sent to my old cell phone and not even displayed on the new one? I have no idea how that is possible.
It concerns the phone number and email address you have to change or change your old one
This is not possible without a SIM card.
Check out the other SIM slot…
What?
As I said, when I call my number it goes to my new cell phone, but when I send an SMS to the same number it goes to my old one. And the SIM slot from the old one is empty.
I don't really understand what you mean now.
SMS can't be sent without a SIM card.
I'm aware of this, but I can't send it either. They just go with the old people. And even when I call the number, the call goes to the new cell phone. Actually, I know my way around things, but that's really new to me
You have two slots. Perhaps there's also an SMS forwarding in it
How should that work if both slots in the old cell phone are empty?
