Cell phone is totally crazy is it too old?

I have a Huawei y7 2019 for some time now, certain apps flicker when I open them or my phone just closes WhatsApp even though I'm writing I have made a system update anyway, the repair is almost as expensive as my phone should I get prefer a new hollow one? Can you recommend good cell phones for less than 500 euro because I'm still a student and don't earn that much in my part-time job.

If it's from 2019, then it shouldn't be too old. If it is too crazy and practically unusable, make a backup and reset it to the factory settings.

Recommendation would be a used Iphone 11 or Galaxy S20.

Unfortunately, Huawei phones don't last that long in my opinion.

Mine broke after 1 year, 1.5 years and 4 months!
