I might want to buy the Matebook 13 2020 from Huawei. I just love the design and the slightly different Windows and the functions you have when you own a newer smartphone from the company.
My question: I don't know my way around so I wanted to ask what do you recommend, the version with the intel core i5 10th gen or AMD Ryzen 5 3500U?
It would be nice if you wrote the advantages and disadvantages of the two chips and your recommendation.
I would like to use it mainly for school and watch series, occasionally edit pictures and sometimes play games. I know it's the wrong device for games, but minimal settings are enough for me it just has to run and that with around 40-60 fps that's enough I'm not used to a switch anyway haha
I would try to get a model with the 4000 chips from AMD
But the 3000s are also a good choice
Definitely take the Ryzen, currently there's absolutely nothing better for the price segments where the Ryzen can be found in notebooks.
But if possible, a Ryzen 4xxx.
I would take Intel
I've always been an AMD fan, be it because of the price-performance ratio or the compatibility. It has always been a step above everything
But why does the intel version cost almost 100 euro more? Is that because of the name or is Intel simply stronger in another area?
Because Intel has simply been way too expensive for years.
For a long time, Intel was significantly faster than AMD. Since AMD brought out the Ryzen processors, the tide has turned. However, Intel does not change the pricing policy. This is good for AMD.
In which areas of application is the amd model better? 🤔
Ahh so thank you.
The 4000s in almost everything
Only with the GPU is the i5 sometimes faster, but it depends on the built-in graphics unit
Ah okay thanks
But only applies to the 10nm models, the 14nm models are significantly worse
Oh well 🤔
