Power button on my Huawei broken, you can saw the plastic edge; remove the switch and operate the pin manually? Will that work?
What is broken?
If only the cover for pressing on it is broken.
Maybe it would be better to replace the whole switch before you start a saw.
About every twelfth try the power button works, so the screen turns on (have bypassed with the plugging of a USB cable), now the phone after nem update but gone out, although I had previously set an auto start

If you do not have to say, my (non-Huawei) tablet simply opened with a very thin screwdriver.
Loud / quiet and power are often connected, a small, very cheap piece of rubber. Maybe it just stuck something that you can see after opening.
With a straightened paper clip, you could carefully try to get the rubber straight or you can even turn the device on / off with the paper clip.
It even worked, so do not rehearse that, but pry it off the switch already.
