I have a strange problem. I sorted my pictures / videos on my smartphone in folders with subfolders by name, year, month. Now, like every few months, I wanted to back up the data on the PC. Has also worked out otherwise without problems.
When I look at the folders of the smartphone on the PC, he shows me some folders as dead 0 byte files, which I can't even open. On the smartphone but everything looks normal and is available. It lets me copy the folders but only as 0 byte files. The more recent files e.g. From this year are displayed on the PC but normal. Since the last backup, nothing has changed on the smartphone (except for the amount of files, of course)
Incidentally, have a Huawei P10 and use the app Folder Galery to sort and manage.
