New acquisition of a camera?

Hi, I have been taking photos as a hobby for several years. But only with a Huawei P20 at the moment. It also takes good pictures, but I want more. Have been taking pictures with my drone for a long time.

Which camera can you recommend? A maximum of 400 euro to 600 euro

I just got a better camera, the Lumix GX9, it's really good, but outside of your given budget. Have to look whether SLR or system. SLR takes really good pictures, but you have to know your way around. The system camera is good for everything else, including pictures, and is more of my favorite, because everything has to do with intelligent processing, etc. Take a look at Canon's Eos M2000 and Eos M50, those were the other options in my selection and more within your price limit. One from Olympus is also quite good, Canon and Panasonic are just my favorites.

As a little tip, take a look at fotomagazin.de for the camera comparison, there you can choose models and compare the technical details (Link)

Is just a mirror device in the viewfinder, which also makes mirror reflexes larger and a little heavier due to the extra space required. The targeted image is seen directly "live" through the mirror, but you can't yet see the adjustments you are making. A matter of taste🤷♂️. System cameras usually have more processing software and you can also see the already adjusted image in the viewfinder.

In general, if I were you, I would look primarily at resolution and battery life, some of which can only be used for a short time because the battery is pulled through immediately😅. If you do it manually, you can also pay attention to the exposure time etc., but then there are a lot of technical details. And what kind of lens you have, low mm for macro and high mm for telephoto. With system cameras, do not be surprised if the mm have little effect, you have to look at the goiter factor in the technical details, for most of them the factor is 2, so that in the end you can calculate the mm times 2. You can look for a lens that is a good all-rounder (now I have 14-140mm, for example, which can work both relatively macro and quite well as a telephoto), or you have to take which are made specifically for macro / telephoto just always carry along and extra lenses are expensive.

Otherwise, take a look at SLR or system camera test winner price-performance ratio, because you can usually find the good ones with a good budget.

In my opinion, in comparison, a reflex system is only worthwhile from over 1000 euro, below that the systems are rather better.

Canon EOS M50 / M200
Canon EOS 250D
Sony A6000
Nikon D5600

All good entry-level cameras.
The cameras at Sony are cheaper, but the lenses are a bit more expensive.

So you should avoid the site. They don't even know that a SLR is also a system camera. System cameras are both mirrorless and single-lens reflex cameras.

And what kind of lens you have, low mm for macro and high mm for telephoto.

No, that is not correct. There are both macros with a short focal length and 200s. I make macros myself.

for most of them the factor is 2, so that in the end you can calculate the mm times 2

Not true either. Crop 2 only has MFT like Panasonic and Olympus. Otherwise most system cameras have Crop 1.5 or 1 (full format), but there are also 1 inch system cameras (a Nikon, Samsung NX Mini) or system cameras with a medium format sensor, where you have a minus crop.

(I now have e.g. 14-140mm which can work relatively macro as well as quite well as telephoto)

Depends on the macros. At least that will certainly not have a 1: 1 or 1: 2 inherent. This is only possible with aids such as an extension ring or close-up lenses, but then you can only set the focus at close range.

In my opinion, in comparison, a reflex system is only worthwhile from over 1000 euro, below that the systems are rather better.

Well… Basically no difference.

This is not entirely true. With Sony SLR cameras, the lenses are even cheaper because the image stabilizer is in the camera and not in the lens.

It is best to use a used system camera with a bright fixed focal length. The advantage of Mft (Olympus, Panasonic) - this type of camera is extremely compact and delivers very attractive images.

I myself have had very good experiences with it.

Example - a Panasonic GF1 paired with a 1: 1.7 / 25 mm mft lens, works well with your budget.

Please give me 3 examples where a Sony lens would be cheaper.
I have 3 examples of very popular focal lengths for you:
Canon 50mm 1.8 - 105 euro; Sony 50mm 1.8 - 180 euro
Canon 24-105 4.0 IS II - 900 euro; Sony 24-105 4.0 G - 1025 euro
Canon 85mm 1.8 - 333 euro; Sony 85mm 1.8 - 465 euro

Yes, you are right, I was thinking of lenses from Sigma and Tamron, which are hardly worse.
