Huawei P20 Lite indoor camera out of focus?

I got the Huawei P20 Lite today. If I go with the indoor camera close to my face, only the background is sharp. My face is extremely blurred and it can't be focused. My P8 Lite was better. Any ideas on what that is? Or is the camera just bad

What does close to the face mean? Each camera needs a certain minimum distance for focusing. This has nothing to do with the quality of the camera.
