Android Ram is getting less and less?

Have a Huawei p20 with 4GB RAM and at the beginning I always had 2.5GB of free RAM but since yesterday came an update after another, I have only 900-1.5 … I have no new apps installed and nothing else changed… Could not detect any performance slumps except on Youtube.

Why should you have free RAM? It's just wasted memory.

Android should manage the RAM management already well. If something is needed, unnecessary stuff is deleted. The content from the current application then has room.

Huawei probably adjusted the RAM management a lot (improved?).
