Snapchat font does not change even though I changed the system font?

I've changed my system font and that worked for all apps, but since I've gotten an update to Android 9, the font in the apps is the same no matter what I'm typing. How can I change this? I have a Huawei P20 Lite.

Maybe that's Snapchat itself, right? Hmm

It's not just Snapchat that way, and almost all other apps retain their font as well. That was not the case before, because the font has changed in all apps.
