Huawei P20 frame is under power while charging. Warranty claim?

Since yesterday, my aluminum frame of the P20 is powered up as soon as I hang the phone to the charging cable. Remember I do it on my tingling hand. The phone fell down about 2 months ago so the frame is slightly bent at the top. The current did not come after the fall on the ramen but as I said yesterday just out of nowhere. Does that count under the guarantee despite my fall 2 months ago? Would have the phone repaired if over the warranty. A separate repair (relative to self-borne costs) is not worth it in my opinion for the phone.

Sure you do not just imagine that? There are at most 9V, because you can't feel anything.

You can send in the device and if you want to repair it for a fee due to the fall, then you refuse a repair.

So you pay then when it comes up the shipping costs and can still sell it as a partial defect.

I held the phone yesterday as I noticed it in my hand and put the cable in and out several times and as soon as the cable is plugged in the aluminum frame or my hand begins to tingle. Will be tested again later my sister. But I'm pretty sure that I do not imagine that.

I did not think so!

Ea

Sometimes the solutions are too easy to think about.

Jo

The highest voltage that comes out of the charger can be applied.

Presumably, a voltage is induced in the frame. This is safe, because not dangerous. And the fall can't have anything to do with it.

What happens if you plug the charger in the wrong way? Or use another charger?

Addendum: I really did not imagine it. At my sister's hand tingles as soon as she picks up the phone while charging in the hand.

Otherwise in the socket I tried but unfortunately without success. And I will test another power supply tonight. I can't find that fast now.

Okay interesting. Just ask me how that comes about. Do not know that the frame consists of separate and isolated parts. If you happen to have a multimeter flying around you, you can measure it again.
